the chalet was fabulous and the biggest compliment is probably that it felt like home straight away

We very much enjoyed our summer week at Chalet Isobel. The location benefits from having a car although the centre of town is only a 20 minute walk away and bus stops are close by. In winter the nearest chairlift is an easy flat 5 minute walk away.

The Chalet itself was fabulous and the biggest compliment is probably that it felt like home straight away. It’s comfortable, cosy, spacious, well equipped and the hot tub was well used throughout our stay.

We’d not hesitate to return, and highly recommend Chalet Isobel, and Châtel.

all in all it was a perfect stay in a lovely accommodation

We have just spent February half term at Chalet Isobel and it was a perfect stay. We were two families with 4 adults and 4 children.

The place was spotless with beautifully crisp sheets and lovely towels, a log fire (with ample wood) and an outside hot tub. The shower was extremely powerful and the kitchen well fitted with everything you need.

We booked equipment through SkiHire2U which was was delivered straight to the chalet and had some lovely lessons through Blue Chilli Ski School.

All in all it was a perfect stay in a lovely accommodation.

stunning chalet that feels like home from home

Stunning chalet that feels like home from home.

We did a week mountain biking and returning each day for a swim in the stream at the bottom of the garden followed by cold beer in the hot tub made the holiday!

The chalet is really well equipped and perfect for our group of friends / family. Would have no reservations in recommending this place...

beautifully presented and very clean. Modern and well laid out yet it retains a lovely cosy, alpine feel

Recently returned from skiing with the family in Chatel. We found the resort and Chalet Isobel to be excellent. The chalet has parking spaces by the front door. This enabled us to get kitted out in the spacious boot room, jump in the car, drive for just 2 minutes and park in the free car parks next to the ski lifts. Very convenient!

The chalet itself was beautifully presented and very clean. Modern and well laid out yet it retains a lovely cosy, alpine feel (comfy seating by the log fire, snug tv area on the mezzanine, hot tub).

We also like the convenience of the restaurant next door. Nice atmosphere, good food and large portions - perfect after a day of skiing.

the chalet is beautifully appointed and laid out, and a perfect base for summer adventures!

We used Chalet Isobel as a base for the Passeport du Soleil. This is a fabulous location for summer mountain biking, within easy access of a great hire shop, extensive lifts and some of the best mountain bike runs in Europe.

The chalet itself is beautifully appointed and laid out. Awaking to the sound of the bubbling river was pretty special, as was the hot tub. The restaurant right next door is extremely good and exceptional value.

In short, this chalet is a perfect base for summer adventures!

Chalet Isobel is a fantastic family friendly chalet, set in a perfect location in Chatel, just a few minutes walk to the lifts

Chalet Isobel is a fantastic family friendly chalet.

It is easy to get to from Geneva airport (only around a 1 hour drive), and is set in a perfect location in Chatel, just a few minutes walk to the lifts.

The chalet had everything we needed – including an excellent restaurant just next door (reservation is advised – it’s that good!).

The TV area was great for the kids, and the fireplace made the lounge a relaxing retreat after a long day.

Highly recommended.

the chalet was always warm and cosy to return to after a hard day on the slopes with the added option of a real fire and a dip in the hot tub to really warm us up!

Have just got back from a very snowy week in Chalet Isobel.

The chalet was always warm and cosy to return to after a hard day on the slopes with the added option of a real fire and a dip in the hot tub to really warm us up!

It is well equipped and the cupboard for ski gear is especially useful to dump all your snowy gear, ready and warm for use the next day.

All the recommendations for ski hire, restaurants, etc were also very helpful.

I would definitely like to return to Chalet Isobel.

the chalet was fabulous, with stunning views of the mountains and luxury beds, bedding and towels

The chalet was fabulous, with stunning views of the mountains and luxury beds, bedding and towels.

The chalet had everything that we needed to keep the kids entertained including table-football and a lovely outdoor hottub - it was also a real bonus having a dishwasher!

The location was great and only minutes from the ski hire, the main lifts and the shops.

Having a car parking space was exceptionally useful.

I highly recommend this chalet.

we had a fantastic week’s skiing at Chalet Isobel and couldn’t fault it. The chalet itself is lovely and beautifully furnished. The setting is stunning, with a river at the end of the garden

We had a fantastic week’s skiing at Chalet Isobel and couldn’t fault it. The chalet itself is lovely and beautifully furnished. Really comfy beds, well equipped kitchen (smeg fridge, dishwasher and very good large oven), Lovely communal space - loved the real wood burner. Plenty of hot water. The den upstairs was great to amuse the kids and keep them out of sight and entertained with the TV.

On a practical note, the boot room downstairs is brilliant so you can hang all the ski wear, boots etc in a heated cupboard,

The setting is stunning, with a river at the end of the garden. The hot tub was brilliant.

the chalet itself is amazing, great rooms, a great open plan kitchen and living room with a real fire

I took my family of four to Chalet Isobel for Easter 1/2 term. The chalet itself is amazing, great rooms and en-suites and a great open plan kitchen and living room with a real fire.

On the ground floor there is a proper heated boot room for drying everything.

Portes du Soleil is a great family ski area, lots of runs and you can either walk to the lifts from the Chalet or do a quick 2 minute drive as we did. There are several options on lifts so you don't have to start in the same place every day.

All in all a great holiday. I have been disappointed in the past with other rentals in the Alps but this one was fantastic.

the chalet itself was lovely, very spacious, and perfect for any group of family or friends who are looking for a relaxing chilled skiing holiday

My family and I stayed here in January.

The chalet itself was lovely. Recently updated and very spacious. The spacious garden and hot tub made for a perfect day off from the slopes.

We did find that having car hire was a major plus. However it is still possible to get to the slopes and local town without one, the bus stop is almost opposite the chalet.

The chalet is perfect for any group of family or friends who are looking for a relaxing chilled skiing holiday.

Thanks for having us!

the chalet is very comfortable and stylish and so well equipped it is very much a home from home rather than just a rental property

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Chalet Isobel. The chalet is very comfortable and stylish and so well equipped it is very much a home from home rather than just a rental property.

We didn’t have great weather but the hot tub in the garden was a welcome distraction for the children and all the activities nearby made up for it. The Renard restaurant next door is worth a visit or 2 as well.

A great chalet for an active family holiday. I would say a car is essential in the summer to experience all there is to offer.

Highly recommended.

the chalet is in a stunning location by the river with great views of the mountains and a beautiful garden around it

We stayed here in the summer and are already planning on going back for skiing in winter.

The chalet is in a stunning location by the river with great views of the mountains and a beautiful garden around it.

The chalet itself is traditional and has been stylishly furnished. Very comfortable beds. The open-plan area is very sociable and light and cosy but we mostly sat on the balcony in the sunshine - the garden/terrace/balcony are all south facing so we had sun throughout the day.

There's an excellent restaurant right next door too.
